Benefits of Goat's Milk Soap

  • Skin: Goat's milk has many vitamins and other essential properties to help nourish skin. These include vitamins A,E,C, some of the B vitamins, amino and citric acids, unsaturated fatty acids and zinc.

  • Acne: Goat's Milk has proteins of the milk products that kill acne producing bacteria.

  • pH Level: Goat's milk soap contains caprylic acid which makes the product a low pH level because it is an alkaline product. This brings the pH closer to human skin and prevents dryness while allowing nutrients to enter the skin.

  • Moisturizes: There are natural creams in goat's milk that help keep moisture in skin better than commercial soaps. This is because the commercial brands are mainly chemicals.

  • Irritation: Goat's milk soap benefits include the lack of alcohol, petroleum or preservatives. This will help reduce skin irritation and itchiness for people with sensitive skin or eczema. Goat's milk contains no harsh detergents.

  • Alpha Hydroxy Acid: In addition, goat's milk soap contains lactic acid, an alpha hydroxyl acid commonly included in skin rejuvenation products. Alpha hydroxyl acid helps slough off dead skin cells, leaving smooth new cells at the surface.

Properties of Cold Process Soap

  • Coconut Oil: Coconut Oil is emollient, moisturizing, conditioning and protecting to the skin. It creates a soap hardness & fluffy lather. High cleansing.

  • Olive Oil: Attracts external moisture and nourishment to your skin. Helping to keep skin soft and supple. Great for sensitive skin.

  • Palm Oil: Makes a harder bar that cleans well and is also mild. Creates a longer lasting bar.

  • Sodium Hydroxide: a chemical that induces saponification with fats and oils to create magnificent soaps. This ingredient gets you clean!

Natural soaps create a glycerin. Glycerin is a natural moisturizer that bonds moisture in the air to whatever it comes into contact with, in this case, your skin. Glycerin is removed/stripped out of commercial soaps since it is valuable commodity. Due to this sometimes your skin is left starved for moisture and condition.
